Description
Concrete retarder code R-200 of Parsman Chemical is an aqueous base solution of organic materials. This product increases the efficiency of concrete in proportion to the amount of consumption and leads to a delay in concrete setting.
Application
•Bulk concreting in order to reduce the temperature in the concreting place.
•Concreting large surfaces with the aim of reducing the number of cold joints.
•Concreting in hot weather.
•Transporting concrete over long distances (even in normal temperature conditions).
•Keeping concrete for a long time according to operational requirements.
Safety matters
Before using the product, please read the safety information sheet carefully or read the safety instructions on the package.

Usage tips
The concrete retarder product code R-200 of Parsman Chemical is presented in liquid form and ready for concrete. It is better to add this product to concrete at the initial stage of mixing with water. Also, if this product is added to the final mix of concrete (inside the concrete trucks), it is necessary to mix for 3 to 5 minutes with a high speed. The performance of Parsman Chemical R200 depends on the weather conditions and the type of cement used. Therefore, it is recommended to carry out an initial evaluation in temperature conditions and with similar materials in order to determine the desired delay rate and the optimal consumption rate. Also, providing suitable processing conditions has a significant effect on obtaining quality concrete (especially for hot and dry conditions or during windy conditions). In the processing process, care should be taken so that the slow-setting concrete does not lose a lot of water due to surface evaporation until it hardens. Using more than the recommended amount of this product may increase the efficiency of the concrete mixture, increase the amount of air, and consequently reduce the mechanical strength and significantly increase the setting time. In some cases, concrete molding may face problems. Of course, according to the type of cement and the ambient temperature, in some cases the mechanical resistance may be higher than that of concrete without admixtures.
This product is compatible with the following admixtures and materials:
•Reactive microsilica (silica foam).
•Concrete superlubricants: such as HS-550 Fluentis and MS-350 Fluentis for longer delay in setting (very hot weather and very long concrete transport distances).
•Expansion admixture
•Aerobic admixtures
•Shrinkage reduction admixtures
•Processing materials for exposed concrete
•Normal mold oil
