Super-plasticizers

The group of super-plasticizing concrete additives products including the new generation of polycarboxylate-based concrete super-water reducers, which are classified and formulated for use in different temperature conditions and climates. Parsman chemical concrete super-plasticizer products, which are offered under Fluentis code, can be used in medium and high strength categories of concrete and lead to an increase in the efficiency of fresh concrete. These products increase the strength of concrete and reduce its permeability against factors such as chlorine and sulfate due to their high ability to reduce the amount of water and thus reduce the amount of water to cement. Therefore, they have taken the name of super lubricant. The variety of super-plasticizers give operators and users the opportunity to make the most suitable and optimal choice according to the temperature and weather conditions, the details and the volume of the project.

The basic advantages of the above softeners are:

 

(1) High efficiency of concrete, which leads to convenient pouring of concrete without reducing cement and its strength.

(2) High strength concrete with normal workability but lower water content.

(3) Concrete mix with less cement but normal strength and workability.

Flowable Concrete

 

Concrete with good performance has advantages that provide the possibility of easy and fast concrete pouring. A concrete with reasonable workability can be obtained by using a high cement content while maintaining the water-cement ratio or by increasing the water while keeping the cement content the

same. However, both methods lead to separation, excessive shrinkage, undesirable heat, and long-term adverse effects. With the advent of super-plasticizer, it has become possible to achieve a slump of more than 200 mm from the initial slump of about 50 mm with doses of 0.3 to 0.6%. Within a few minutes after the addition of super-plasticizer, the concrete begins to flow easily and remains cohesive and does not have the characteristics of undesirable liquefaction, separation or strength reduction. Such concrete is variously known as flowable concrete, self-compacting concrete, flowcrete, supercrete, liquid, fluid or collapsed concrete.
